What happens in our band workshops?
After some warm-up activities, you and
your bandmates decide on the classic
track you want to learn and perform.
We have a specially tailored selection
of songs that are both well-known and
achievable. There are various levels of
challenge built into the design of these
songs, making them achievable for
everyone, irrespective of whether you
have ever played an instrument
or sung before. There are no barriers
to our workshops, making them totally
accessible and inclusive for all.

1. Choose your song
Choose whether you to sing, or play
guitar, bass, keyboards or drums. We
guide you in learning the basic parts
of the song. Alongside simple visual
resources, our tutors will facilitate
you in achieving your goals, using
a relaxed and fun approach. If you
prefer to avoid the spotlight, optional
roles include sound and lighting
engineers, with hands-on training.

2. Learn your own parts
Now that you have the basics in place,
it's time to bring your band together.
With just the right balance of support
from our tutors and time for your own
exploration as a band independently,
you will apply your new skills and
hear how each part of the band works
together.

This is where we piece together each
section of the song, figure out
solutions to any challenges faced,
whilst growing in confidence, ready to
play the song from start to end

3. Rehearse your band
Now the fun ramps up to the next level!
Once your band feels ready, take to the
performance space, with the quality
state-of-the-art instruments. Using our
sound and lighting system, you start to
get the full rockstar experience*

We will bring the music to life, explore
some stagecraft skills and refine
your performance through guided
reflection and supportive feedback.

We can even video your final
performance to wow friends & family!
*however, no throwing TVs out of
hotel windows!

Choose between your preferred venue, own premises/place of work or we can find a great location for you. Leave it to us to liaise with external venues on your behalf and deal with logistics on a bespoke basis. We're very happy to travel to any location in the UK, Europe, or worldwide.

Each member of Team Rockstar has over two decades
of experience working in the music industry as professionals, having performed with artists from Mercury Prize nominees to jazz legends and rock/metal royalty.
We are also respected educators who hold post-graduate teaching certificates in higher education. As such, we bring a deep awareness of pedagogic research and positive psychology approaches to teamwork through music.
We draw on these rich skillsets and varied lived experiences, from touring the USA, Europe and the UK in bands to lecturing at one of Europe’s leading music Universities, in order to deliver tried and tested fun sessions for your team.
